Ingredients
- 9 bananas
- 2 cups of oats
- ¼ cup of roughly blended salted peanuts
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil
- ¼ seed mix (Chia and flax seed)
Instructions
- Oil your pan.
- Mash bananas into a puree using a fork.
- Add seed mix, salts and peanuts into the puree.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Add oil and mix until totally infused into the puree.
- Turn the 2 cups of oats into the batter till fully mixed.
- Use your hands or scoop to mould into the desired shape of choice.
- Place the moulded scones on a baking tray with little spaces between them.
- Bake on low heat for 30 minutes, flipping to the other side in 15 minutes or once brown.
Notes
- Based on the desired texture adjust the amount of oats.
- Place even-sized patties to permit even baking.
- It is not compulsory to blend your banana into a smooth mix.
- Oiling the non-stick pans is necessary and placing the oven on low heat for a well baked patties.
- The basic scone recipe is simply banana and oats, other ingredients are optional.
